This Risk Communication and Information Management course to be piloted, offers a unique, cross-sectoral and cross-border approach focusing on the development of RCCE (Risk Communication and Community Engagement) strategies, infodemic management, and the effective use of social media in public health emergencies. By identifying gaps and building on both evidence-based practices and participants' experiences, the training will enable action-oriented learning to improve preparedness and response efforts.

The Regional Pilot Training aims to test the relevance, usefulness, and quality of training materials, as well as the appropriateness of the teaching methodology. Your participation and feedback are critical to ensuring that the course content is practical, user-friendly, and adaptable to the diverse needs of learners. We want your input to help shape and contextualise future iterations of the training, making it a truly collaborative effort that reflects real-world challenges and solutions.

As part of the DG SANTE implementation of Regulation 2022/2371, EPIC11 is contracted by HaDEA (HADEA/2022/OP/0017) to develop an EU preparedness training programme. The project aims to reinforce PPR planning with targeted training and knowledge exchange activities for healthcare and public health staff (Article 11 – Regulation 2022/2371).

Target Audience: This training is open to mid-level managers and technical experts from various fields, including:
