To support the implementation of Article 11 (Training of healthcare staff and public health staff) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2371 on serious cross-border threats to health, the Directorate-General for Health & Food Safety of the European Commission (hereafter “DG SANTE”) may carry out the following activities (hereafter “activities”):
- Organising in-person or online events such as trainings, workshops, and exchange visits.
- Conducting online surveys or interviews, for example, to understand training needs.
- Setting up mailing lists and working groups.
- Sending emails and newsletters related to these activities.
In order to make these activities possible and to stay in touch with you, we may kindly ask for some basic information: your name, professional affiliation (such as job title, employer and place of work), and email address (hereafter “personal data”). Your personal data will only be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil these purposes and never longer than 5 years. You shall have right of recourse at any time to the European Data Protection Supervisor at EDPS@edps.europa.eu.
We take your privacy very seriously. Your personal data will be treated with the utmost care and confidentiality, and will only be shared with trusted partners such as contractors or beneficiaries of EU grants (e.g. consortiums) who support us in organising these activities. They will only receive the data they need for these purposes and are equally bound to protect it.
