Dear all,
The service contract “EU preparedness: analysis, planning, reporting and training programmes for health specialists”, known to you under its acronym EPIC11 (Emergency Preparedness Integrated Courses carried out under Article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2371 on serious cross-border threats to health (SCBTH)) and funded by the European Commission through the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), ended on 12 of December 2025.
Please note that the project website, including all event registration pages, will no longer be accessible after December.
Over the past three years, the project has brought together more than 1,300 participants across 46 events, including various courses of the EU Health Preparedness Training Programme, National Workshops and Exchange Visits.
We would like to thank each of you sincerely for your engagement, openness and trust throughout this journey. Along the way, there were challenging moments, many highlights and, above all, countless encounters with motivated, thoughtful and highly committed colleagues from across Europe who inspired us and shaped this shared path. Getting to know and work with so many of you has been one of the greatest strengths and joys of this project.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to colleagues from ECDC, DG HERA, WHO and the many experts in crisis preparedness who contributed to the project. Your expertise, commitment and high-level technical insights significantly enriched the programme and strengthened its impact.
Your contributions have been invaluable in strengthening cross-sector and cross-border preparedness across Europe, and we hope that the connections built through this project will continue to support and inspire future collaboration - helping all of us to work together while preparing and responding to health crises across Europe.
Finally, we express our gratitude to HaDEA and DG SANTE for financing this project and for their continued support in strengthening preparedness across Europe.
We wish you a wonderful holiday season, a restful end of the year and all the very best for 2026.
Warm regards,
The project team
(GFA-KIT-TM Consortium)
